A Beast of Nurgle is fantastic at tying up opponents. Their strength and Foul Appearance makes them hard to hit and Tentacles hard to run away from. The Beast of Nurgle come in many different shapes and sizes but no matter what they look like they can all perform a very useful role for a Nurgle team. Their benefits to the team are their high strength and armour, along with the useful skills Disturbing Presence, Foul Appearance, Nurgle’s Rot, Mighty Blow, Regeneration and Tentacles. Nurgle Warriors are expensive players who have low agility and movement. Despite that they are very good at what they do with high strength and armour. They also come with some great starting skills that you are unlikely to even see on other developed teams.

This opens up whole new possibilities of tactics and team development that other teams can only wish they had! A veteran, fully developed Nurgle team with a full roster will have 4 Warriors, 4 Pestigors, and a Beast, plus (at least) 3 RR's. That's 9 players that are above "Rotter/lineman" quality. With only Ag 3 and without any starting Block/Dodge/Ball Handling skills, Re-rolls are more important for a Nurgle starting roster than for most other teams.
